Race information: Saturday Sept. 6th @ 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and

Sunday Sept. 7th, @ 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m

This is a fairly straight forward event: fastest person to the top wins.

That being said, it's going to be a leg and lung busting adventure with some grades approaching 20%!

It's only a little more than a mile, so it doesn't really qualify as an "endurance" event. But if you had to rate it for suffering...well...I think you will get your money's worth!

The Hill Climb will be a very low cost, fun, stand alone event. But where it really shines is as the third race in our Dirt Diety Omnium series of races. Make sure you check out the Dirt Diety Omnium events, as they give all of our races a second way to get on a podiums as ALL AROUND outstanding dirt racers.

Categories

Individuals only - Dirt Diety Omnium riders will be registered as such and will be known to the Organizers and results officials.

Support

This race will be fully supported. We will have mechanics on site, bathroom facilities, Food, Drink and parking all available within walking distance of the Start location. Geisinger Sports Medicine will provide dedicated medical staff, in the event that any medical help is needed. The Expo area and event parking is within riding distance of this event, so we expect good spectator participation.

There will also be a transport vehicle at the top of the run. Riders can opt to ride back to the bottom via trails, but off the course, stay and cheer their fellow competitors, or wait for the transport vehicle to return them to the Expo area at the end of the event. Be advised that the transport vehicle will not leave until the end of the event, so it may be a bit of a wait, should riders choose to wait for a lift.

Awards

River Towns Race Series race, riders will be awarded points toward the series based on our 11 age groups. There will be brief awards ceremony post race for the top three men and women finisher. There will also be point awarded toward the Dirt Diety Omnium distinction and award.
